The goal of the FitPaws World Agility Open in establishing the jump height divisions listed below, was to create a more even split in the height divisions and to cater for all sizes.  We believe the majority of dogs competing in Agility at this level measure between 260 & 560 (of course there are exceptions to this) and we therefore believe a 60mm height division not only splits these dogs into 5 heights but it allows all dogs to compete against dogs of similar size.  Our 250 class allows small dogs such as Papillons, Toy Poodles, etc. to compete internationally.  The 300 & 400 heights create two middle height divisions and the 500 and 600 divisions split the larger dogs into two jump heights so that dogs are competing against dogs of a more similar height.

Dogs may jump in a higher height division than their measured height.
